The Aurora University women's basketball team started out very fast at Alverno College on Tuesday night, leading after one quarter before falling to the Inferno.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans jumped out to an 8-0 lead with four points from Alyssa Brems.
At the end of the first quarter, AU led Alverno 12-9.
After Alverno rallied to take a lead, Brems drained a three to help AU regain a lead at 21-19.
The second quarter ended with an Alverno 12-3 run and AU trailing 29-24 heading into halftime.
The second half was unkind to the Spartans as they managed just 13 points combined in the third and fourth quarter, falling 68-37.
