HOW IT HAPPENED
- A three-point field goal from Julie Galauner got the Spartans going and AU never looked back as the coasted to the win.
- An Allie Reichert basket late in the first-quarter gave AU a 21-7 lead.
- AU led 21-11 at the end of the first quarter.
- The Spartans offense got off to a slow start in the second but picked up the pace and led at the half 33-26.
- A 15-5 AU run in the third gave the Spartans their largest lead of 17 points (48-31).
- The lead expanded to 21 on a three from
Alyssa Brems just before the end of the third and AU led 55-34.
- The Spartans largest lead of the game came in the fourth on a three from Galauner. AU led by 24 (64-40).
- AU closed out the game and won 69-58.
