The Aurora University men's hockey team played on the road as they opened the NCHA schedule at the College of St. Scholastica on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU allowed an early power play goal in the first period and would trail 1-0 at the end of one.
- Four even strength goals in the second saw AU fall behind 5-0.
- The Spartans showed they would battle to the final horn in the third, scoring twice midway through the third.
- A power play goal from Tim Faulkner got AU on the board first.
- 1:04 later, AU added another goal with Ashton Amaya scoring his first goal.
- AU would keep the pressure on but fall 5-2.
