Aurora University men's basketball started the NACC contest at Benedictine on Saturday afternoon, slowly. AU trailed 28-4 just 8:15 into the game but fought their way back to lead in the second half before falling 85-77.

- The Spartans chipped away and with 7:59 to play in the game, AU led 66-65.
- All the effort in the come back wasn't rewarded as Benedictine answered with a 17-3 run with just over a minute to play.
- AU went on to fall 85-77.
