The Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team returned to the court after the Christmas holiday break and traveled to Elmhurst College. AU fell to Elmhurst 76-57.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU trailed early and with just over a minute to play in the first quarter, the Spartans were down 11, 20-9.
- Four points from Meija Rabi in the final minute brought AU to down 20-13 after one.
- An early three in the second from Alyssa Brems pulled AU to down four.
- A 16-4 Elmhurst run put the home team up 17 at 36-19.
- AU trailed 38-21 heading to halftime.
- After trailing by their largest deficit, AU ran off a 12-0 run with six points from Bri Hall to pull to down 53-40.
- AU trailed 55-41 after three quarters.
- The Spartans went on to fall to Elmhurst 76-57.
 
FOR THE SPARTANS
- Bri Hall had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
- Meija Rabi had 16 points, five rebounds and three steals.
