The Aurora University women's hockey team traveled to take on another first-year program on Friday evening in Trine University. The Spartans scored the final four goals of the game to defeat the Thunder 4-1.

- Trine scored the games first goal at 8:19 of the first.
- 1:35 later, the Spartans tied up the game with a goal from
Terah Edstrom on a
Michaela Hamm assist.
- Less than three minutes later, the eventual game winning goal was scored by Hamm with assists to
Bri Wood and
Hannah Gwillim.
- AU took the 2-1 lead into the first intermission.
- The lone goal of the second period came with 3:39 to play as
Bri Wood scored on a
Nicole McKernan assist.
- Midway through the third, Hamm added to the Spartan lead. Her second goal of the game came off a
Olivia Monzel assist.
- The Spartans earned their second win of the season with a 4-1 final score.
