The Aurora University men's basketball team celebrated senior day and senior
Josh DeHaan stole the show, scoring a career high 25 points as AU won easily and knocked down 18 three-point baskets to win 104-83.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Starting three senior's on senior day, AU opened up the game with a lot of momentum, 16-0 to be exact. AU drained their first four shots, all three's, two from
Josh DeHaan and one each from
Marcus Myers and
Jordan LaGrone.
As the Spartans continued to score, Edgewood worked their way back into the game, pulling to 36-27 with 6:37 to play.
The Spartans though would have none of that as they answered with another run, getting six points from Myers and capped off with an and-one from DeHaan.
The teams headed to halftime with AU leading 58-42.
A 9-0 opened the second-half for AU with two three's from Myers and a three from
Max Vickers.
The Spartans built the games biggest lead of 34 points (82-48) with 13:29 to play on a basket from DeHaan.
AU Head Coach
Lance Robinson was able to get all 16 dressed players into the game as the Spartans maintained control of the game.
The Spartans went on to win easily, 104-83.
BEYOND THE BOX
AU recognized five seniors prior to tip-off,
Josh DeHaan,
Jovonn Griffin,
Phil Schuetz,
Jeremy LaGrone and
Jordan LaGrone.
With 18 three's made in the game, AU set a new Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference record for three's made in a season, breaking the previous record set by the 2006-2007 Spartans.
The Spartans opened up the first and second half on a combined 25-0 run.
FOR THE SPARTANS
Josh DeHaan scored a game and career high 25 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the field including four-of-four from three-point range.
Marcus Myers had 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field including four-of-five from three-point range.
Max Vickers had 17 points and nine rebounds.
Jordan LaGrone had 10 points.
Jeremy Jordan had four points, four assists and four rebounds.
