HOW IT HAPPENED
AU jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first 4:02 of the game with goals from Bailey Smith (2), Joe Ebel and Trevor McNamara.
CUC scored what would be their only goal of the game and AU led 4-1.
Three goals from Jason Koziol and two more from Bailey Smith finished the first quarter and AU led 9-1.
AU out scored CUC 15-0 in the second quarter and led 24-1 going into halftime.
As AU played all of their travel party and a running clock in the second-half, the Spartans scored six third quarter goals and six more in the fourth quarter.
