The Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team opened 2018 with a five game win streak which came to an end on Tuesday night at Wisconsin Lutheran College in NACC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU led 2-0 behind a basket from
Adriana Ramirez.
- The Spartans then saw WLC go on a 27-5 run to end the first quarter at 27-7.
- Baskets proved hard to come by in the second quarter as well with AU going to halftime down 46-19.
- AU fought to the final horn but came up short in their efforts to extend the win streak to six, falling 79-32.
