The Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team and the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders went back and forth for 40 minutes and it was the final bucket of the game that proved to be the game winner in a 62-61 Spartan loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU trailed 7-0 early and got a three from
Alyssa Brems almost four minutes into the game as their first bucket.
- The Spartans took a 15-12 lead with two minutes left in the first before ending the opening period tied 15-15.
- The second quarter saw 3:32 go by before either team scored with Brems once again draining a three ball.
- The teams went into halftime tied 22-22.
- After falling behind by three (25-22), AU went on a 7-0 run to lead 29-25.
- For the third straight quarter, the teams remained tied. The score was 42-42 heading to the fourth.
- A three from
Julie Galauner midway through the fourth gave the Spartans a 57-50 lead, their largest of the game.
- MSOE ran off a 10-1 run and led 60-58 in the final minute.
- Galauner drained a three with 36 seconds left to put AU in front 61-60.
- MSOE was able to get a basket with 19 seconds to play and took the games final lead 62-61.
- The Spartans had two chances to regain the lead in the final possession but came up just short and lost 62-61.
