The Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team hung tight with Concordia Wisconsin but came up just short in the end as AU fell to CUW 62-54.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first quarter set the tone for the game as both teams traded leads with AU leading by three midway through.
- CUW finished the quarter on a 5-1 run to lead 18-13 after one quarter.
- AU found themselves down by 10 with 3:36 to go in the first-half but roared back on a 7-0 run to trail 29-26 at halftime.
- The Spartans kept on the heels of CUW in the third and late in the quarter pulled back to down three at 42-39.
- AU trailed 45-39 going into the fourth.
- CUW built the games biggest lead of 12 with 8:26 to go in the game at 53-41.
- The Spartans used the three ball and a 9-2 run to get back to down five (55-50) with 3:50 to play.
- But after a timeout, AU just couldn't quite keep up the momentum they had and would go down 62-54.
