The Aurora University men's volleyball team took to the court for the first time when they traveled to North Central College. The Spartans took a 1-0 set lead but would fall to the Cardinals 3-1 in the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans scored the matches first point and first in program history on a NCC serving error.
- The first set was tied 8-8 before the Spartans ran off five straight points including a pair of aces from
Justin Yost.
- AU led the rest of the set and captured the first set win for the program, 25-19.
- The Spartans would drop the next three sets though and fall in the first match that Aurora University competed in, 3-1.
