The Aurora University women's volleyball team welcomed Homecoming 2018 and the visiting Falcons of Concordia University Wisconsin to Lancaster Court in Thornton Gymnasium. The huge Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference match-up saw the top two teams in the NACC standings square off. AU was victorious in knocking off the Falcons 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED -
- The Spartans grabbed an early lead in the opening set and went on to win 25-19. Senior
Katie Vondra had seven kills in the set.
- The second set was tight until the Falcons grabbed a lead and made it hold up in a 25-19 AU loss.
- The third set found the Spartans trail 15-11 when AU Head Coach
James Seitelman called a timeout.
- The Spartans responded out of the timeout though. A few points later and down 19-15, Mikayla Fincher was behind the service line when AU ran off a six straight points including a pair of aces from Fincher.
- AU would win the set 25-23 and lead the match 2-1.
- With all the momentum in the gym behind them, the Spartans opened up the fourth set with a 10-1 lead.
- AU grew the lead to 20-4 and went on to win 25-12.

Emily Lines colelcted her 50th double-double of her career with 49 assists and 18 digs.
