The Aurora University women's soccer team played kept their chances of making the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament alive with a 1-0 win at MSOE on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half was a defensive contest with the Spartans leading in corner kicks with five but managed just one shot while MSOE managed three shots.
- Early in the second half, in the 52nd minute, Spartan Alexis Abelove sent a diagonal pass to a wide open Kelsey King. King beat the keeper 1v1 an AU led 1-0.
- The AU defense and goalkeeper Taylor Joiner made the 1-0 lead hold up as AU was victorious.
