The Aurora University women's volleyball team defeated Dominican University 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-22) to seal an undefeated 2018 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference slate.

HOW IT HAPPENED -
- The Spartans and Stars battled point for point in the opening set with the score being tied 10 times and three lead changes in the set.
- Dominican would take the opening set 25-22.
- After trailing early, AU grabbed a 10-6 lead and never trailed again despite Dominican working their way to within one (21-20) late in the set.

Imani Freeman and
Lindsey Simpson each had four kills in the set.
- The third set saw neither team hit well but the AU blocking game came up strong. Down 12-7, AU had six assisted blocks in the next 12 points.
- After five consecutive blocks were followed by back to back aces from
Julia Wood, AU led 18-15 and Dominican exhausted both of their timeouts.
- The Spartans would go on toe win 25-19 and take a 2-1 match advantage.
Karli Chambers had five kills in the set.
- AU never trailed in the fourth and what would be final set of the match, though they could never completely pull away from the Stars.
- The Spartans won 25-22 behind their best hitting set of the match, .208 (19 kills, 8 errors in 53 attempts).
