The Aurora University football team shut out the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors 43-0 in offensive outburst combined with a strong defensive showing.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After trading three and outs with the Warriors, AU used a defensive fumble recovery to mount a drive to begin their scoring for the day.
Sean Kerr kicked a 28-yard field goal to give AU the 3-0 lead with 8:07 left in the first quarter.
- On their next drive AU took advantage of a short field position and capped off a 40 yard drive with a five yard rush touchdown from
Gavin Zimbelman. AU led 10-0 and took their lead into the end of the first quarter.
- On the first play of the second quarter
Keion Adams intercepted the WLC quarterback and returned 28 yards.
- The Spartans made quick work on offense and extended their lead to 17-0 in two plays after an 11-yard touchdown rush from
Tyran Bailey.
- The Spartans continued their scoring streak on their next drive with a 14 yard rushing touchdown from
Tyran Bailey. AU led WLC 23-0 with 5:51 remaining in the first half.
- The Spartan offense added seven more points to their score after a 41 yard touchdown pass from Zimbelman to
Sean Mullen. AU led WLC 29-0 with 1:12 remaining in the half.
- AU led Wisconsin College 29-0 at the end of the second quarter.
- After appearing to lose the momentum going into the second half, AU returned back to their scoring ways with a 78 yard drive that led to a 7 yard
Tyran Bailey rushing touchdown, his third of the day. AU led 36-0 with 4:50 remaining in the third quarter.
- Another AU touchdown on a five-yard rush from
Halen Miller increased their lead to 43-0.
