The Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team dropped a neutral site non-conference contest to Monmouth College on Saturday afternoon as senor guard Alyssa Brems was named to the Anderson Tournament All-Tournament Team.

- The Spartans and Scots traded numerous leads in the first quarter with AU trailing 20-18 at the end of one period.
- A Julie Galauner jumper with 7:27 in the second had AU within two at 29-27.
- Monmouth ran off a 14-3 run to grab a double-digit lead and led AU at halftime 50-35.
- The third quarter saw Monmouth firing from the field and at the end of three, AU trailed 76-52.
- AU showed fight down the stretch, finishing the final 7 minutes on a 17-8 run but fell 92-72.
