- Monmouth ran off a 14-3 run to grab a double-digit lead and led AU at halftime 50-35.
- The third quarter saw Monmouth firing from the field and at the end of three, AU trailed 76-52.
- AU showed fight down the stretch, finishing the final 7 minutes on a 17-8 run but fell 92-72.
