The Aurora University men's volleyball team played the first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and overall match with Benedictine University on Saturday evening in Lisle. AU fell to the Eagles 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- AU led 1-0 in the first set and then trailed the rest of the way as they fell 25-16.
- The second set was the opposite as the Spartans trailed 1-0 and then led the rest of the way.
- AU led 24-18 and then had to hang on to win 25-23.
- In the third set AU went toe to toe with BU and saw the set tied 19-19. AU went on to fall 25-20.
- The fourth and would be final set saw the teams tied 15-15 before AU went on to be out scored 10-4 down the stretch for the 25-19 loss.
