The Aurora University men's lacrosse team took a short trip to Benedictine University for a Midwest Lacrosse Conference match-up on Saturday afternoon. AU led early and pulled away late to knock off the Eagles 15-8.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU fell behind 1-0 but rallied quickly for a 3-1 lead after one quarter. Spartan goals coming from the sticks of
Trevor McNamara (2) and
JK Torres.
- The Spartans built on the lead in the second quarter behind a pair of
Joey Lucchesi goals and one each from Torres and
Joe Ebel.
- Heading to halftime, AU led 7-3.
- Both the Spartans and Eagles scored three times each in the third quarter for a 10-6 AU lead heading to the fourth.
- In the fourth, AU pushed their will on to the Eagles. Lucchesi got the scoring started with a man-up tally. Ebel and McNamara then added quick back to back goals and AU led 13-7.
- Lucchesi and Arends rounded out the scoring for the AU 15-8 victory.
