HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU jumped out to a 6-0 lead 12 minutes into the game.
- Later in the first-half, the Spartans scored three times in 41 seconds to lead 9-2.
- AU took a 9-3 lead to halftime.
- The second-half was all Spartans as Reilly Armstrong and the AU defense pitched a shutout.
- While the defense was holding their own, the offense followed through with nine goals.
- With 22:28 left in the game, Kristina Krokosz scored to start a running clock.
- Senior Andrea Colford dominated on the offensive end with six goals, three assists for nine points, she won 14 draw controls, picked up three ground balls and caused three turnovers.
