The Aurora University men's lacrosse team battled MLC rival Concordia Wisconsin on a chilly Fitting Field in Mequon, Wisconsin on Thursday afternoon. The Spartans were victorious in the low scoring contest, 7-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU trailed 1-0 before
Joey Lucchesi tied the game at 1-1 with 9:17 on the first quarter clock.
- Shortly after going down 2-1,
Braden Toll scored with an assist from
Gavin Hardersen.
- The Hardersen and Toll combination teamed up to start the second as AU took a 3-2 lead. This time it was Hardersen scoring and Toll on the assist.
- CUW would tie the game midway through second before the Spartans ended the first-half scoring.
- Just before halftime, Lucchesi scored his second of the game and gave the Spartans a 4-3 halftime advantage.
- In the first minute of the third quarter, CUW scored their second man-up tally of the contest to tie the game 4-4.
- As the game had gone the teams continued to trade goals.
Ben Arends gave the Spartans a 5-4 lead on an assist from
JK Torres before the Falcons tied the game.
- With the game tied 5-5,
Trevor McNamara scored what would be the game winner with 5:57 on the third quarter clock. Torres assisted on the goal.
- Entering the fourth leading 6-5, AU tightened the camps on defense, not allowing a goal as
Tyler Lombardi and the defensive group stifled the Falcons.
- With 6:29 to go,
Tanner Lerdahl scored to give AU a 7-5 advantage.
- AU ran out the final four minutes of the game and were victorious 7-5.
