- The Spartans dominated the first-half, taking a commanding 8-1 lead.

Andrea Colford scored on three and assisted on another of the first five AU goals.
- Spartan
Ellie Blake scored to open up the second-half and gave AU a 9-1 lead.
- Cornell responded with three straight goals and with 23 minutes to play, AU led 9-4.
- AU traded goals with Cornell and then closed out the game with four straight unassisted tallies for the 16-6 win.
