The Aurora University women's volleyball team brought on day two of the 2018 Jim Coleman Memorial Classic. AU defeated Ripon College 3-0 before falling in the final match of the Classic to University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh 3-1. Spartan seniors Katie Vondra and Emily Lines were named to the 2018 Jim Coleman Memorial Classic All-Tournament Team.

HOW IT HAPPENED -
- The Spartans won the opening set 26-24, rallying from down 24-21 for the win. 
- AU fell behind in the second set, trailing 8-3 but took a lead midway through and went on to win 25-21.
- The third set again saw the Spartans trail late at 23-21 before three straight kills from Katie Vondra sealed the win, 25-23.

HOW IT HAPPENED -
- The Spartans had control of the opening set, leading 24-21 and appeared to have won the set on an Oshkosh attack error. But a late tip call extended the set and gave the visitors all the momentum. Oshkosh would win the set 26-24.
- AU trailed throughout the second set and fell 25-18.
- The Spartans came out firing in the third set, leading from the opening point. AU hit .382 in the set and won 25-15.
- In the fourth set, long rallies were in store. The set was tied 13-13 when Oshkosh tallied the next point. From there, the visitors would control the contest and score, winning 25-20.
