- AU never trailed in the first quarter, leading 8-3 on a three from
Alyssa Brems.

Julie Galauner gave the Spartans their largest lead of six at 11-5
- AU led 20-17 after one quarter.
- Early in the second, following a three from Galauner, AU saw Lakeland go on an 8-0 to take the lead 30-26.
- The Spartans trailed 42-32 going to halftime.
- AU clawed back into the Lakeland lead late in the third quarter thanks to a 5-0 run and trailed 63-50 after three quarters.
