- After scoring the first basket of the second quarter and leading 17-9, the Spartans saw Dominican run off a 14-2 run.
- The Spartans cold shooting continued as the home team run finished the half as a 21-4 and AU trailed 30-21 heading to halftime.
- The second-half saw AU trail by double-digits before going on to fall 65-49.
