Spartans Receive Weekly Honors - 
- Tight End Colton Jewell was selected by D3football.com to the Team of the Week following his performance in AU's 63-27 victory over Concordia University Chicago. In the win, he had six catches for 109 yards and three touchdowns while he also helped the AU running game accumulate 219 yards on the ground.
- Quarterback Gavin Zimbelman was recognized by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week. In AU's 63-27 victory over Concordia Chicago, Zimbelman accounted for eight of the nine touchdowns on the day for AU, throwing for six and rushing for two more. He became the single season touchdown passing leader with his first touchdown pass. He went on to finish the day throwing 28-of-36 passes for 319 yards and six touchdowns while rushing for 93 yards and adding two more scores on the ground.

Spartans in the National Statistical Rankings: AU ranks second among Division III programs in passing offense (365.4 per game), fourth in total offense (536.0 yards per game) and 11th in passing efficiency (182.05) while ranking sixth in scoring offense (51.0 points per game) and third in red zone offense (.960 - 24 of 25).

Individually, Zimbelman is first nationally in passing touchdowns (31), points responsible for (200), points responsible for per game (40.0), total offense (395.4 per game), second in passing yards per game (365.4), fourth in completions per game (27.20), fifth in passing yards (1,827) and 11th in passing efficiency (182.1). 

Maxwell is first in receiving touchdowns (12), third in total touchdowns (12), total points scored (72) and scoring (14.8 per game), seventh in receiving yards (133.8 per game) and 11th in receiving yards (669). 

Tyran Bailey is sixth in rushing yards per carry (7.18)

Casey Dycus is ninth in fumble recoveries with two.
