The AU women's soccer team played their last regular season game on a chilly Halloween night at Spartan Athletic Park. The Spartans fell to the Stars 3-2, in a game that was postponed a day and then changed venues due to an unexpected fall snow storm.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute when
Alexis Abelove placed a beautiful shot in the right window. The goal was set-up by a well played through ball by
Anessa Munoz.
- In the 24th minute, AU went up 2-0 when
Jessica Mirsky was able to finish on a put-back goal off a deflected shot.
- Just four minutes later, the Stars cut the AU lead to 2-1 when they slipped through the Spartan defense and hit a shot into the lower right corner.Â
- Spartans held a 2-1 lead heading into halftime.Â
- The Stars evened the score 2-2 in the 58th minute when a shot off a corner kick was deflected by Spartan defender and found its way into the back of the net.
- DU pulled ahead 3-2 with two minutes remaining in the game, when the slid a goal into the lower right corner, just out of
Kelsey Deck's reach.
- The Spartans would go on to lose 3-2.
