The Aurora University women's basketball team earned another non-conference victory in an 83-59 road win against the Holy Family College Lakers. The Spartans jumped out to an early lead and controlled the game from tip-off to the final whistle.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans jumped out to an early lead, taking control 12-3, 6:41 into the game.
- AU remained in control through the rest of the first quarter, taking a 25-18 lead into the second quarter.
- As the second quarter got underway, the Spartans continued to take advantage of open shots, extending their lead to 42-26 at the half.
- The Lakers went on a run to start the second half, cutting the Spartan lead to 11 with 7:03 left to play in the third quarter.
- The Spartans responded right back, scoring a flurry of points in the third quarter and extending the lead to 62-36 with 1:53 to play in the third quarter.
- As the fourth quarter started, the Spartans led 62-41.
- A host of Spartans got into the scoring in the fourth quarter, continuing to hold the lead and ultimately going on to win 83-59.
