The Aurora University women's volleyball team defeated Dominican University 3-0 (25-20, 28-26, 25-18) to advance to the 2019 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday, November 9.

HOW IT HAPPENED -
- The Spartans led early in the opening set building an 11-3 lead before Dominican rallied to tie the set 13-13.
- AU turned to
Karli Chambers and
Sydnei Avery who led the offensive attack before two final kills from
Lindsey Simpson for a 25-20 win.
- In the second set, the Spartans again led early with Dominican rallying and going ahead of the Spartans 23-21.
- The battle tested Spartans stood strong and would hang on for a 28-26 thrilling second set and a 2-0 match lead.
- The Spartans grabbed a 6-5 lead in the third and what would be final set on a
Colby Oltman kill. AU pulled away with a comfortable five point lead throughout.
- AU won set three 25-18 to advance in the NACCÂ Tournament.
