The cold night air outside Thornton Gymnasium made its way inside as the Aurora University men's basketball fell to the visiting North Central College Cardinals 83-53.

- Another three from Hotwagner with 10:44 to play in the opening half had AU leading 15-14.
- North Central finished the half out scoring AU 24-10 as the Spartans trailed 38-25 going into half.
- The Spartans saw the deficit increase in the second-half and would fall to the Cardinals 83-53.
