The Aurora University men's basketball team dropped a road NACC contest Wednesday night at Concordia Wisconsin 81-77.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- One minute into the game, AU led 5-0 following a three from Bailey Vance.
- A 14-0 run by CUW midway through the first-half found the Spartans trailing by 13 at 26-13.
- The Spartans answered later in the half with a 12-1 run on four three's, two from Rashad Johnson.
- Late in the first-half, AU trailed 38-37.
- AU would into the halftime break down six at 44-38.
- Trailing by double digits, the Spartans used a 15-0 run and after a Will Hrubes three, AU led 65-62 with 10:10 left in the game.
- The Spartans then allowed CUW to run off on a 9-0 run and trailed 71-65.
- AU would cut the deficit down to one four times in the final minutes.
- The final time came on a step back three from Jarek Hotwagner.
- The Spartans would be unable to complete the late comeback and fell by a final score of 81-77.
