Senior Day was on the schedule as the Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team welcomed the Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Institute of Technology to Lancaster Court in Thornton Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. AU used a 35-point third quarter to pull away and defeat IIT 87-42. During pregame, AU recognized the senior class of Marissa Kopping,

- The Spartans came out of the pregame festivities and were cold shooting from the field.
- After the first quarter, AU trailed 12-11.
- The Spartans rallied in the second but still struggled from the field.
- AU led 29-27 at halftime.
- Coming out of halftime AU got the offense rolling.
- AU out-scored IIT 35-2 in the third and led 64-29.
- The fourth saw the Spartans continue to play well and won 87-42.
