- The Spartans dominated play throughout the contest, leading 6-0 after the first quarter.
- AU added eight second quarter goals to lead 14-0 going to halftime.
- The Spartans would lead 24-2 after three quarters.
- When the final horn sounded, AU was victorious 30-2.
