Large early lead sends Spartan men to victory

The Aurora University men's lacrosse team jumped out to an 11-1 lead in the first-half and coasted to a 15-6 victory at Cornell College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans dominated the first-half of play, taking an 11-0 lead.
- AU led 6-0 after the first quarter with goals from Jameson Morrison, Josh Boyko, Harrison Canaday (2) and Nic Kruzlic (2)
- The Spartans added five more in the second with Canaday and Kruzlic picking up hat tricks.
- Late in the second, Cornell scored to end the AU run.
- AU led 11-1 going to halftime.
- The Spartans controlled the contest the remainder of the game with Josh Boyko scoring three more times in the second-half.
- AU went on to win handily, 15-6.
