The Aurora University women's lacrosse team used a lock down defensive effort in defeating Beloit College 9-2 on the road on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU took a 2-0 lead with goals from Janne Brown and Marina Kanner.
- Kanner and Caley Backstrom scored the last two goals of the first-half as AU took a 4-1 lead to halftime.
- The Spartans out scored Beloit 5-1 in the second-half with two goals each from Kristina Krokosz and Claire Carlson. Janne Brown wrapped up the days scoring as the Spartans won handily, 9-2.
- Reilly Armstrong stopped five of the seven chances she faced in the winning effort.
