The Aurora University men's lacrosse team got a shutout performance from goalies
Phillip Gianelle and
Zach Tykocki and the defensive unit, winning 16-0 at Monmouth College. The win clinched the No. 2 seed and a home game in the upcoming Midwest Lacrosse Conference Tournament.

- The games scoring was slow to start as AU led 1-0 after one quarter with
Josh Boyko picking up that tally.
- AU scored seven times in the second with defender
Bryce Wallgard capping off the scoring with 27 seconds left in the first-half.
- AU led going to halftime, 8-0.
- The second-half played out exactly like the first with AU scoring the only goal of the third quarter, coming from Boyko.
- In the fourth, AU scored seven times for the 16-0 final score.
Nic Kruzlic scored two man-up tallies, giving him three of those in the game.
