HOW IT HAPPENED
- Goals came early and often for the Spartans as the defense absolutely smothered the host Bucs.
- AU led 8-0 before Beloit was able to crack the AU defense but it was the AU defense getting involved on offense as well with
Jayden Silva and
Josh Favorite collecting scoring tallies.
- Heading to half, AU led 10-1 and increased that lead to 23-1 after three quarters.
- AU coasted in the fourth quarter and outscored the home team 7-2 for a 30-3 victory.
- Spartans
Ryan Griffin and
Dominic Diaz won 29-of-35 face-offs to help AU dominate possessions throughout the game.
