The Aurora University men's basketball team saw their comeback fall short on Saturday afternoon in a NACC home contest on Lancaster Court. Falling to the visiting Falcons 82-75. The Spartans held a 73-71 lead with two minutes to play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans led 14-10 after a Jarek Hotwagner layup with 14:41 left in the first half.
- A 15-0 run put the Falcons ahead 25-14 with 9:52 to play in the first half. 
- Michael Finley and Bailey Vance led the Spartans with 8 points in the first half. 
- AU trailed at the half 41-33.
- The Spartans would erase their 12 point deficit over the course of the second half.
- Trailing 62-50 with 11:53 to play in the game, the AU rally began.
- With 6:50 to go, a Will Hrubes jumper got the Spartans to within three at 63-60.
- Hrubes later drained a three-pointer to put the Spartans ahead 73-71 with 2:07 left in the game.
- The Falcons outscored AU 11-2 over the next two minutes to beat the Spartans 82-75
