A late rally from the Aurora University women's basketball team had a strong second-half and held on late to defeat Concordia Chicago 75-71.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans led early in the first quarter 6-0 behind four points from
Julie Galauner.
- AU would trail 17-15 after the first.
- Led by Galauner and
Meija Rabi, the Spartans built a six point lead in the second before going into halftime trailing 34-33.
- A fast start again welcomed AU in the third quarter as a 7-0 gave the Spartans a 40-34 lead.
- After three quarters played, AU and CUC were tied 53-53.
- A four-point play from Galauner started the fourth for AU.

Allie Reichert nailed a three with 7:49 left in the game to give AU a lead they would not surrender.
- The Reichert three also started a 14-2 AU run to give the Spartans a 73-62 lead with 2:30 to play.
- CUC managed to cut the AU lead to two at 73-71 with 35 seconds to go.
- After a Spartan possession, CUC were at the free throw line with a chance to tie the game with 5.9 left on the game clock.
- The Cougar shooter missed both free throws and when
Allie Reichert sank both of her free throws with 0.1 to play, AU was victorious 75-71.
