- AU held their advantage for the reminder of the first-half, taking a 44-40 lead into halftime.
- The second half opened with two consecutive baskets by the Spartans, their lead extending to eight, 48-40.
- The Muskies took the lead back, 52-51, finding their own points in the paint.
- AU would take back the advantage one possession later, on a
Will Hrubes three point basket.
- For the next four minutes, the Muskies would keep the game close, and tied the game 63-63 with 10:56 remaining in the second half.
- The Muskies went on a 13-4 run, extending their lead to 78-69 with 8:10 to play.

- AU was unable to overcome to offensive effort of the Muskies and ultimately fell to LU, 101-95.
