The Aurora University men's hockey team dropped the weekend finale against Trine University on Saturday evening, falling 4-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trine opened the scoring at 13:52 in the first period.
- Justin Meers gave the Thunder a 2-0 lead with eight seconds to go in the first period.

Lordanthony Grissom got the Spartans on the board at 2:05 in the second period. He was assisted by
Drew Doyon and
Brayden Sampson.
- Grissom was fed a pass at the doorstep from Doyon and he buried the goal.
- AU went on the power play late in the second period.

Shawn O'Malley buried a loose puck in front of the net to even the score at 2-2.
Liam Stirtzinger and
Roberts Baranovskis were on the assists.
