The Aurora University men's basketball team were propelled by a strong shooting performance on the afternoon in an 86-78 victory on Lancaster Court over Milwaukee School of Engineering.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first 7:30 of the game saw the teams trade leads numerous times with the game having a tie score six times.
- A
JT Daniels three in the corner with 10:52 to go in the first-half gave AU a 21-20 lead.
- Minutes later, back to back baskets from Michael Finley gave AU a 28-26 lead with 5:57 to play. That lead would never fall from the Spartans hands.

Rashad Johnson (two) and
Shamar Pumphrey drained threes shortly after and the Spartans led 37-28 late in the first-half.
- AU took a 39-32 lead to halftime.
- With a five point lead early in the second, the Spartans used an 8-2 run to push the advantage to double digits.
- The Spartans controlled the action for the best part of the second-half.
- A three from Michael Finley with 5:35 left gave the Spartans their largest lead of 17 at 75-58.
- MSOE tried to make a comeback but the Spartans held strong and were victorious 86-78.
