For the second consecutive night the Aurora University men's hockey team played to an overtime tie with #7 Lake Forest College. Game two of the series on Saturday night at Fox Valley Ice Arena finished in a 2-2 tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans and Foresters played a scoreless first period of play for the second night in a row.
- Midway through the second period LFC scored a power play goal to lead 1-0.
- The game remained 1-0 for nearly the next 20 minutes when AU managed to tie the game.
- AU's
Larry Jungwirth used his speed down the far boards to score.
Anthony Tzveyn and
Cameron Beaudry had assists.
- A little over three minutes later and on the power play, AU and Jungwirth struck again.
- The goal gave the Spartans a 2-1 lead with 5:49 to play. Tzveyn and
Danny O'Donnell assisted.
- Lake Forest tied the game with 3:23 left in the third on a goal that appeared to go in despite a possible interference with AU goalie
Josh Boyko.
- The game would remain 2-2 and head to overtime.
- In overtime, both teams made rushes but the goaltenders kept the point in hand for their teams.

Senior Night will take place prior to the opening puck drop and skate with the Spartans will happen at the conclusion of the game.
