- AU jumped out to a 5-0 lead just over seven minutes into the contest with two goals each from
Ellie Blake and
Claire Carlson.
- After a CUW tally, the Spartans scored four more consecutive goals and led 9-1 with 18:23 left in the first-half.
- When
Monique Gibson scored with 13:33 left in the first, AU enacted the running clock with a 10 goal lead at 12-2.
