Victoria Perry led the Spartans in scoring in the first with seven points.
- AU led 20-15 at the end of the first.
- In the second quarter, AU got hot from three, shooting 50% in the quarter from beyond the arc.
- The lead grew in the second quarter for the Spartans, outscoring Dominican 30-10.
- Senior guard
Julie Galauner led all scoring in the second quarter with 17 points.
- The second half started with a couple more quick buckets from

- In the third quarter Dominican fought back, closing the lead by outscoring AU 22-21.

- In the fourth quarter the Spartans were back on track, with 28 points and a team 62.5% from three.
