- Adrian took a 1-0 on a Brooke Schembri goal seven minutes into the first period.
- With 14 seconds left in the opening period, Adrian scored extended their lead to 2-0.
- The Spartan penalty kill stood strong all game, not allowing a Bulldog goal in 5 power play chances.
- Jessica VonRuden gave Adrian a 3-0 at 15:49 in the second period
- AU faced a 3-0 deficit going into the third period. 
- Adrian a fourth tally two minutes into the third period.
- The score remained 4-0 the rest of regulation.
