- The second-half saw both teams having scoring chances with the keepers including AU's
Kelsey Deck keeping the balls out of the net.
- In the 81st minute, the Spartans got the equalizer from
Megan Newton with an assist from
Mikayla Spiering.
- The score was 1-1 as the game headed to overtime.
