The Aurora University women's hockey team took to the road for the first time this season and were victorious in game one of the weekend series with Bethel University, winning 5-1.

-The Spartans struck first to open the contest with a goal at 7:03 of the first.

Peyton Elliott scored the eventual game-winning goal with assists from
Madison Gasper and
Rachel Campoli.
- Bethel tallied a power play goal at 13:26 of the first period to round out the first period scoring.

Erin Campbell scored an unassisted goal to give AU a 3-1 advantage.
- Elliott scored her second of the game with 1:15 left in the second period.
Darci Matson picked up the assist on the goal,
- AU scored with 49 seconds left in the game to seal the 5-1 win.
