The Aurora University men's hockey team remained unbeaten with a 6-2 road victory at Lawrence University thanks in large part to a sensational second period that saw the Spartans score three times including twice on the power play.

- AU started the scoring 1:39 into the game with
Dylan Rauh lighting the lamp from assists to
Clay Keeley and Roberts Baranovskis.
- A short time later at 3:58, Lawrence scored to tie the game 1-1.
- The teams would head to the first intermission tied 1-1.
- The Spartans started the second period on the power play and needed just 35 seconds to grab the lead.

Andrew Lane.
- Midway through the second, AU headed back to the power play and the special teams came through again.
- The top AU power play unit dominated possession and 1:17 into the extra skater, the Spartans scored.

Jack Jaunich fired a shot over the should of the Lawrence tender for the 3-1 lead.

- Later in the second, a goalie assist happened for the third time this season.
Josh Boyko made a pass to
Matt Weber who found a streaking
Simon Boyko. Simon's shot found the back of the net and AU led 4-1.
- AU held the 4-1 lead going to the third period.
- Early in the third, Lawrence scored to cut the AU lead to 4-2.

Riley Doyon put the Spartans back up three with a power play goal a 8:33 of the third. Keyes and
Larry Jungwirth assisted.
- A short time later, Samuel Harris put back a rebound in front of the net to wrap up the games scoring.
