The Aurora University men's basketball team had a strong night shooting and out shot the Stars of Dominican University 80-52 for a NACC win.

- The Spartans trailed 11-5 early but a 12-2 run put the Spartans in control.
- A Julian Gatewood three started another AU run, this time 12-3 and the Spartans led 29-19 with 6:55 left in the first-half.
- AU took a 35-25 lead into halftme.
- Gatewood led all scorers with nine points in the opening half.
- Another Spartan run opened the second-half, this one 16-2 behind eight from Shamar Pumphrey.
- The Spartans continued to shoot well and controlled all aspects of the game in the second-half.
- A Gabe Elias three, the final basket of the game gave AU the 80-52 victory.
